There are properties that simply cannot be replicated ′ and this is one of them. Set on five private acres in the serene Fifteen Mile Creek valley, this landmark Victorian manor has stood since 1900, and it carries that history with grace. The wraparound covered porch sets the tone immediately: a generous, shaded expanse perfectly suited to watching the seasons move across the hills, Fifteenmile Creek tracing its quiet path through the valley below, and a popular cycling route winding alongside. This is a home that invites you to slow down.Inside, over 3,500 square feet unfolds across five bedrooms and two floors of original hardwood. A recently remodeled farmhouse kitchen and a beautifully appointed bathroom ′ complete with clawfoot tub ′ speak to what′s already been accomplished. The current owner has invested six years of thoughtful renovation: all-new electrical, all-new plumbing, a new septic system, two furnaces, central air, an on-demand gas water heater, and a gas fireplace. The bones are solid. The infrastructure is current. What remains is the invitation ′ to add your own vision to a canvas already rich with character and care. A mudroom with washer/dryer, generous garden space, and a peaceful rural setting close to The Dalles make this a rare opportunity.Victorian heritage, ease and comfort, and a foundation built to last. Some homes are simply worth it.
