Built in 1932, this authentic Spanish Colonial Revival residence occupies one of the most desirable lots in the Encanto-Palmcroft Historic District. Designed from the period pattern book Homes of the Spanish Type, the ′′Casa de Enchanto′′ was built for prominent Phoenix physician Dr. Alfred Cosgrove Kingsley. Historic character remains throughout, including original cove ceilings, mahogany doors, wrought-iron work, metal casement windows, red-tile roofs, fireplace and walled patio. Originally built as a 3-bedroom and currently configured as 2 bedrooms, the home offers wonderful bones, architectural integrity and tremendous potential for thoughtful updating in one of Palmcroft′s most coveted settings.
