this was salt lake city’s first neighborhood, established in the 1850s. it sits above salt lake city’s downtown area, giving you the feel of being above it all, while still in the middle of everything. homes are nestled on the sides of the foothills to the north of the city. residents tend to be politically progressive. homes have a well-tended, “artsy” feel. the avenues is the home of many professionals in salt lake who want a short commute to downtown, the university of utah or the capitol. that vibe meshes nicely with the older, victorian architecture of the homes you will find here. memory grove and city creek canyon are popular areas for hiking and outdoor recreation.
i entered this business because of my deep love for architecture and design. while my path led me to real estate rather than architecture itself, it has allowed me to focus on selling the homes and buildings i truly admire.
the panorama is a perfect example of this passion. its name alone evokes a distinct sense of time and place—reminiscent of watching a space shuttle launch at cape canaveral or enjoying a cocktail while people-watching from your private patio. it also reminds me of the iconic apartment buildings in paris or new york that catch your eye on a rainy spring morning.
selling great design isn’t always about grand estates; it’s about these unique spaces that offer a view of the clouds passing over the city skyline or the capitol building. it provides that big-city lifestyle in a personal sanctuary—a downtown apartment where you can drop your bags after work and head out for the night. i have always been drawn to this building’s white facade, clean architectural lines, and the way it sits perched above the city center.
