Porch living with river views in gated Crane Island, Amelia Island. 79 Old Well Road is a 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath Lowcountry-style home with 3,235 sq ft, built in 2022 in Fernandina Beach, FL, and designed around three outdoor living spaces.
The expansive covered front porch overlooks Alice Park and the Amelia River, a front-row seat for morning coffee and Florida sunsets. A private rear porch offers a quiet retreat, and the upper balcony adds a second view of the park and river.
Inside, oversized windows and high ceilings fill the open floor plan with natural light. Stained-wood coffered ceilings, a marble-surround fireplace and wide-plank wood floors set the tone. The chef′s kitchen has a 6-burner gas range, double ovens, furniture-grade cabinetry, a large quartz island and a hidden walk-in butler′s pantry.
The first-floor primary suite features a spa-style bath with a freestanding soaking tub and separate shower. Upstairs are two en-suite bedrooms and a flex room or home office. Fiber cement siding, a metal roof and a 2-car garage complete the home.
A short walk away, the Crane Island River House offers an infinity-edge pool, marsh-side fire pits and a fitness center, minutes from historic downtown Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island beaches.
