Beautiful house-studio in a quiet street, designed by the Mexican Architect
Bernardo Gómez Pimienta, located in Santa Catarina Coyoacán CDMX.
It has been published in several architecture and design magazines.
Project of 500 m2 of construction on 320 m2 of corner land, house, studio and an
additional apartment with independent entrances.
The central courtyard of the complex creates an atmosphere of relaxation and
harmony ideal for family gatherings or with friends and has 2 half bathrooms for
social events with one of the independent entrances with reception or access booth
for surveillance. It has a pleasant Roof Garden of 200 m2 with grill and green
views.
There are 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 3 half bathrooms, 1 large studio or 4th
bedroom and 1 office.
The master bedroom has electric security blinds; in the main bathroom there is a
double sink and double shower very illuminated by a strategically designed dome
that connects to the dressing room.
The other 2 bedrooms have a closet and bathroom each.
The studio or social area of the house has self-cleaning Saint-Gobail jumbo glass
windows 5 m high and overlooking the courtyard.
The courtyard, like the rest of the house has floors of natural lava enclosure of 40
X 60 cm and 3 cm thick, the jacaranda of the courtyard with root controlled by a
cylinder of 2 m in diameter by 2 m deep.
The entire house has design details such as built-in bookshelves made of 1/4 iron
plate and domes to take advantage of natural light.
Separate living room and terrace with double tempered glass floor, dining room
and open kitchen with floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the patio has pantry, and
2 independent sinks, as well as dishwasher, with laundry area and a maid's room
with bathroom.
The apartment, which is independent with access from the street, includes an
integral kitchen at the bar with a washing machine and living room, dining room, full
bathroom and additional space for a closet or small office.
Thassos white marble in bathrooms and kitchen countertops, outlets for Wi-Fi

The house has hydronic heating in bedrooms on the second level, a 10-thousand-

laundry filters.
All doors that face the outside and are exposed to the weather are enameled with
pigment to prevent rust or any type of scratches.
