In the heart of a historic landscape, very close to the emblematic Royal Palace of El Pardo, 6 km from the center of Madrid, stands the majestic Palacete de Villahermosa. This architectural jewel was built in the 19th century by Doña María del Carmen de Aragón-Azlor e Idiáquez, the 15th Duchess of Villahermosa. Together with her husband, Doña María del Carmen was a great patron of the arts and a fervent lover of culture.
