Detached house located on a plot of 4598 square meters, situated in the center of Vila Nova de Famalicão, with 433 square meters.
Comprising six bedrooms, two main suites, one in the service area, and three bedrooms supported by a full bathroom.
The layout of the house and its arrangement form a U shape, with a clear separation between the social area and the private area.
Built in 1942 and commissioned by a canned food industry entrepreneur to the architect Januário Godinho.
This work has a character of design experimentation due to the proximity that the house′s design seeks with nature.
The starting point for the project is the tree that still stands there today.
It is worth mentioning the dichotomy between tradition and modernity - tradition in the selected materials and tiles; modernity, in the form and in the relationship between interior and exterior.
With a central location, this house is close to local shops and supermarkets, schools, and all kinds of services such as pharmacy, hospital, gyms, firefighters, clinics, and public services. It has a train station one kilometer away. Access to the highway is about 10 minutes away, allowing for quick and easy travel to the city of Porto or other destinations.
