History of Kuszmann bazaar
Július Kuszmann from Kežmark built Kuszmann′s bazaar on the ground of today′s hotel Tatry (the name used until the recent past). In 1896, it was the first store that opened its premises for customers of Tatranská Lomnica. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by fire in 1903 but a new brick store was built the following summer. Until 1945, the store was run by the son of the original owner, Július Kuszmann Jr. This building is known as hotel Tatry.
